This Ascending white Lotus takes flight with roots wrapped around a fluorite crystal. It speaks to the yearning for transformation that I share with all living things.
A copper frame starts the shape.
Raw silk is printed with hand drawn sketches and formed over sculpted clay.
The finishing touches are added in the form of painted details & embellishments.
It is a layered refined & intricate process developed by Martin and is unique to these sculptures.
